NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Chris Johnson ran for a touchdown, Vince Young outdueled Matt Leinart yet again and Tennessee beat the Arizona Cardinals 24-10 Monday night in the Titans' preseason home opener.

The Titans (1-1) never trailed as Johnson scored on his sixth carry, an 8-yard TD that capped an 85-yard drive. The All-Pro watched from the bench the rest of the night.

Young once again got the better of Leinart, who is trying to hold off Derek Anderson for the starting job in Arizona. Young was 9 of 13 for 128 yards and left after four series with a 10-0 lead.

Leinart was 4 of 6 for 28 yards but produced no points for a second straight preseason game. The Cardinals (1-1) went three-and-out on each of his three series.

My two thoughts so far:
1.) Vince Young looks different. Good different. I'm not sure what has changed.
2.) Javon Ringer is going to be a solid fill in when Chris Johnson needs a breather. I liked what he brought to Michigan State, and I think his talents will translate well to this Titans team.

This game was brought to you by Sominex. Even for preseason this game sucked. Goodness. There was so much suck in this game that I could feel the air rushing out of my house to fill the vacuum.

Enjoyed the game the Titans put on from the the QBs and CJ2K was good to have in the game & D was Massive!! Cardinals do have somethings they have to get done before we can call them contenders without Kurt Warner. Matt Leinart isn't terrible but the offensive is going to look dimenished this year. I think the O-Line was not there for Derek Anderson. I think the team will benefit from Chris "Beanie" Wells and Larry Fitzgerald but I think the running game will be one to watch this year but the passing game has to be effective to gain ground and attempt to keep up with stiff competition from a surging and tougher NFC Conference.
