Just under three hours to go. I'm nervous for the first time in any Pats Super Bowl appearance. I wasn't nervous before any of the losses (Bears, Pack, Giants) or the Wins (Rams, Panthers, Eagles). Today I am.

I want us to win for Mr. Kraft, and Myra's memory, very very badly.

I'll be posting a mix of my normal reports/live diary at the half, and after the game, since I don't want to run into max character buffer issues.

I hope Mr. 503 takes the night off.

Go Pats!

Now I'm really nervous! Wassup Amy? You're usually the one to calm us down.

Looking forward to your write-up about an awesome Pats win. Brady will be cool, and the D will be monstrous!

It's not a good matchup. It's why I was go Niners all playoffs long! That said, I think we win. I think BBs ready and I think he wants it more this time. I think they all do. I hope it's a Pats blowout, but, we'll see.

Oh, and Brauneyz, I snagged an AFC Championship T-shirt yesterday, and hope to be ordering a new Super Bowl Champs hat soon!

Alocohol prices (http://www.whosay.com/darrenrovell/photos/125936) at Lucas Oil Stadium today.

$11.00 for a can of Bud Light? $6.00 for a bottle of soda-pop? Really?

Dang, I got a whole case of Sam Adams variety ales for $21 at Costco, and folks wonder why I prefer my girlcave. Plus, an awesome chicken enchilada casserole ready to toss in at the half.

I have a whole pork shoulder in the smoker and the peanut oil is heating up in the turkey fryer for my famous-from-here-to-across-the-street chicken wings.

Wings in the 1st half, pulled pork sandwiches in the 2nd. I even whipped up a batch of Carolina BBQ sauce for the occasion. :woot:

Second half:

Third quarter. We took the Giants punch, and survived it. Now, it’s our turn. 2 quarters for the season.
NBC shows all the Giants highlights of the first half, and then they show the score.

On a side note, CC really seems to have not watched any Pats gamefilm. He’s made a lot of comments that make him seem like he’s shocked about things that have happened often for the Pats this season, like slow starts.

Pats Fifth possession, leading 10-9. We start at the 21 after a return by Tiny Dancer. 14:54 in the quarter.

1st and 10: Green Ellis for 2, JPP hurt on the play.

Giants possession 8, trailing 17-15 with 3:46 to play. They start at the 12

3rd and 5: Hail mary, Gronk almost gets it. I hate Bernard Pollard. I hate him.

Pats: 3 of 7 on third.
Giants: 3 of 6 on third

This sucks. The Giants fumble 3 times, get them all back. Welker and Branch have 4 drops in crunch time. We don’t even get a clearly you have to booth review. It’s such BS. The D will get blamed when the Giants played terrible most of the game. I hate this loss, it’s such BS. If they beat us down, like Chicago did in 20 or the Giants did in 42, ok, that’s one thing. But to see the D make play after play and lose to bad luck. That sucks. And, you know, Al and CC could you be a little more pro Giants. What ever happened to being unbiased?

Now, we should have run more in the second half, but, really, this was a fluke game. Giants got a few bounces and they won. We played better on D the whole game, and both Os were average. Now, we get to listen to months of ‘Eli’s Elite’ and hear the Giants crow, only to fall apart, again, next season. It sucks.

It’d rather lose to the Steelers, and I hate them.

I want to add that John Parry and his crew did a great job. The replay guy didn't, but the field crew did.
