We squeak one out. A win is a win.
MVPs: Amendola, Vereen, Arrington and Mckelvin. The Bills might have lost, but he played really well.
Goats: Ridley, and Marone. The Bills Coach is a major reason we won. 2 straight possessions, late in the 4th, with the lead, and he kept his hurry up going. Bad decision.

Next: Jets on Thursday

An old cliche - sign of a good team is when they don't play well and still win.

New cliche - when you play a team with a stupid coach, good things happen.

As painful a loss as this was, watching the 4th quarter, it was clear that the Bills did not deserve it.

As painful a loss as this was, watching the 4th quarter, it was clear that the Bills did not deserve it.

Early on when things weren't going well, Marrone looked like someone was kicking his puppy. When things inexplicably weren't going horribly wrong he looked like his plan had just come together. When it was over, he looked befuddled.

After the game he said somethign to the effect that the coaches have to improve, as well as the players. To which any kind person would offer no response, but to which anyone who had wasted the last couple months listening to this nonsense should have responded along the lines of "duh."

I'm still shaking my head that the Bills just didn't slow down the playcalling. Even Gumbel and Dierdorf commented on it. As I said in chat yesterday, I think the Bills desire to up tempo is a good one, it plays to what Manuel, Freddie and CJ can do. But, that said, Marrone and company need to learn to game manage. As a Pats fan, I'm glad they suck at it. As a football fan, I hate to see bad coaching. Except from teams I dislike, and the Bills are not one of them.
