The A11FL is a 'new' spring football league that is made up mostly of teams from the old USFL. Maybe this time they won't get Donald Trump'd and try to go head to head with the NFL...

And the Michigan Panthers are back, too...

They have a TV partnership with ESPN, so that is a good sign.

I like it. Go Staggs.

Unless someone signs Jared Lorenzen. Then I am a fan of that team.

The Michigan Panthers - back in the 1980s - were a blast. They won the 1983 USFL title with Bobby Hebert hitting Anthony Carter for the game-winner over the Philadelphia Stars.

I really hope this works out.

That name is a mouthful. How do you pronounce it?

New rules, per Wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A-11_Football_League):

The league will have the same rules as the NFL, except that there will be no jersey number restrictions for offensive players, allowing any of the eleven offensive players to be eligible receivers depending on how they line up at scrimmage (known as the A-11 offense).

ESPN will air two "showcase" games, according to that Wiki. And they're hoping to get Tebow. I bet they are. He'd be a gold mine of publicity.
