Just when I thought we might get through an off season with no big drama, I see on some web site that Miles Austin has been seen escorting Kim Kardashian to some event and supposedly he is her new guy. Of course its none of my business but Miles you might want to visit with Mr. Romo about the pitfalls of dating a high profile celebrity. Though I'm not sure what her talent is or where her celebrity comes from, watch out for pitfalls Miles, pitfalls my boy. Oh, and better luck than the previous boyfriends and remember, Pitfalls!!!!!!

Kardashians are 2-0 man...I'd say it was a solid move

See how much good she did for Reggie Bush? And by good I mean nothing.

Hey..hey won when dating her, and Lamar won married to Kloe...although he also won before he dated her

Yes but Reggie Bush didn't win them the Superbowl. I think that was lucky coincidence.

Don't listen to the critics Miles!!! Kim is smokin hot and if you can get her then keep her!! And Kardashians bring championships so Cowboys fans should be pumped. Now if he was dating Jessica Simpson then Dallas might have some problems.

Miles, Miles. You can gain in celebrity by dating a Kardasian, but let's face it, after all the attention is gone, you can't escape the skank factor. On the other hand, girls in South America see the plastic surgeon to get what Kim was born with. No accounting for taste, but Miles, why don't you try being the star in a relationship? Nobody respects a guy whose lady is the reason he got in the VIP section.

Do we seriously have a thread debating the merits of dating a Kardashian? OK, carry on.
. . . and Hank Basket, who dropped the super bowl onside kick, is married to one of those reality TV people. Coincidence?

Good point Andy. And who did New Orleans kick that much discussed on side kick to in the Super Bowl? the aforementioned Hank Basket!
My only reason for the thread in the first place was that after growing up with the Cowboys in Tom Landry years, I was getting a little weary of all the off field player drama of recent years. And just when I thought we might skate thru this year I see Miles smiling face on some TV trash entertainment show. Well, maybe the press will ignore this little tid bit in the future. I don't hold out much hope of that in these days of all LaBron and all Tiger all the time.

I do hope everyone realizes that I was joking. I'm not a fan of reality TV and particularly the Kardashians, but you guys are welcome to discuss anything you want, as long as you're willing to put up with my occasional snide comments. Sadly any football player dating a celebrity, even one who's only a celebrity because she dates athletes, has become part of the sports/news/entertainment world. And you can multiply that by 10 when it's a Cowboy. It's all part of the circus that is the Dallas Cowboys, dating back to Peter Gent.
