I've found myself listening to a ton of classic rock in the last few days. My oldest brother is a musician and schooled us well on the foundations of Rock 'n Roll. Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Ted Nugent, Hendrix, Black Sabbath, Beatles, Eagles, Kiss, etc.

I just spent an hour in the car and heard the following songs on the radio in succession:

I haven't just driven around in the car riding the waves of awesome music coming out of the radio in years. Felt like a kid again. I already mailed the DJ his gold star.

What are your favorite classic rock tunes? Let's say that every song posted here should be from 1981 or earlier.

It would take too much brain power to figure out my top songs of that era. There are just too many great songs during that time. So here are a few of my favorites of the top of my head.

Dazed and Confused- Led Zeppelin
Walk Away- James Gang
Hotel California- The Eagles
Cinnamon Girl- Neil Young
Comfortably Numb- Pink Floyd
