It's actually on my TV. Albeit muted while I'm listening to the Fantasy Focus podcast. The point is, I love drafts of any kind, even WNBA. I don't watch hockey at all and I tuned in for the NHL All-Star Draft. I'm all in on drafts of any kind.

The NHL having guys choose sides was awesome.

Anything WNBA is most definitely not awesome.

I watched for a few minutes out of curiousity. It's comical to listen to those ladies trying to be just like the boys. Talking about 'bigs' like Tim Legler but with deeper voices.

High comedy for about three minutes. Then it went back to being excruciatingly painful to watch.

For the second time in a year, a Canadian Football League team has drafted a dead player.

The Montreal Alouettes selected defensive end James Eggink of Northern Illinois in the fifth round of the league's Canadian college draft today, only to learn a few hours later that Eggink died of cancer last December.

Last April, the Ottawa Rough Riders sought defensive end Derrell Robertson, who had died on Dec. 5, 1994.

Only in Canada.

Here's an insight into the Canadian mindset. Tonight was the debate between the leaders of Canada's 4 major political parties. Yes, there are 4.

Anyway, as it's the 4th election in 8 years, no one really gave a crap. But this
http://www.montrealgazette.com/sports/Canada+could+support+teams+report/4604598/story.html a ridiculous piece of speculation from a single researcher at a Toronto University is guaranteed to be front page news tomorrow. You see, unlike our friends to the south, we don't get so worked up over politics.

But hockey! That's 24/7 up here buddy.

But this really is the biggest news out of Canada today...

Was talking about the WNBA draft yesterday day and not to get all chauvinistic and everything but we were debating which of those girls who def make you feel like you were woman&they were the man if you got with them. Like Maya Moore looked jacked as heck during the draft..Of course like all discussions of this nature, it quickly got out of hand and turned to which woman athletes would break you.General consensus that Serene Williams backside would break all but the manliest of men in half but wouldn't u love the opportunity for that challenge

Of Course you heard how they recently moved a national debate right cause of how it conflicts with a playoff hockey game national debate right cause of how it conflicts with a playoff hockey game (http://blogs.villagevoice.com/runninscared/2011/04/new_yorks_ufo_h.php)..Sometime you can't make this stuff up

It's the 100% truth.

But you have to remember, this is our 4th election in 7 or 8 years. If you think american debates are lame, you should see a Canadian one. Better yet, watch something interesting like "Extreme Couponing" or "Top Chef Sudan".
