• Happy Turkey Day Everybody

    My Thanksgiving tradition of not eating all day until the bird is served is threatening to kill me at this moment, so I thought I would distract a few of my starving brain cells and say Happy Thanksgiving to you all. I am looking forward to a little free time after the wild card round and hopefully by then have a few big announcements for our favorite site. Until then, enjoy your family and a great day for everyone except Lions fans to this point. I just hope Suh isn't suspended for our game against the Saints next week, but who knows. Amazing, a guy as smart as he is, I believe he was an engineering major, can lose his cool as much as he does on the field. That cost the Lions the game. 10-0 is nothing playing at home. 14-0 after stopping them on 3rd down, killed any momentum the Lions would have gained out of that stop. Stunning really.

      OK. Where was yours spotted? Because I am looking at a play and the back tip of the ball is 1 inch outside the goaline. I know NCAA only records to the yard, but can you beat 1 inch?

      It looks to be 3 people who have thrown the longest pass for 99 yards.

      1) Dondrial Perkins of South Carolina
      2) Giovanni Vizza of North Texas
      3) And some scrub from Florida named Collinsworth.

      Awesome. This reminded me of reading a letter on Super Mario Bros 3 which was released in America the same year Cris joined NBC.

      Drew Brees had a 99 yarder as well. I believe it was 1999 against Northwestern.

      Well, a day late, but Happy Thanksgiving Cris, Turk, Andy, Phil, Dave and everybody here at footballpros. I was busy all day yesterday and didn't get much of a chance to be on here (not even cell phone service for my iPhone at Mom's house. Yikes). I hope everybody had a good one. Cris, I think you'll be in luck, as I'm sure Suh will appeal any suspension handed down, so he'll likely play next week.

      Also, I did what Cris did. I waited all day [For Sunday Night], I mean to eat Thanksgiving Dinner. It was worth it. I got on the scale when I got home & was pleased but I also spent a couple hours store hopin EARLY in the morning for Black Friday. Thank You Jesus everyone was orderly. I love Commercial Real Estate and Retail this was right up my alley.

      I hope everyone had the best Thanksgiving they have ever had. I am not disciplined enough to pass on all the pre-Thanksgiving turkey food items available for consumption. Suh has issues. He is in denial about what he is doing. I don't think you will see him vs. the Saints Cris. Too bad. Every NFL O-lineman knows you can get under Suh's skin, take him out of his game. He needs to get his mind right.
