• Redskins Sign RGIII, Luck Next?

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Washington Redskins signed Heisman winning rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III to a fully guaranteed four-year contract. The deal is reportedly worth just over $21.1 million and includes a sizeable $13.8 million signing bonus. In what has to be considered a win for both RGIII and agent Tom Condon, the agreement contains no offset language.

This signing should spark a wave of other rookie signings. To date, RGIII is the only one of the top eight picks in the 2012 NFL Draft to have put pen to paper on a his first contract. Could Colts' rookie and #1 overall pick Andrew Luck be next?

This is great. He was on the verge of missing workouts, which he can't afford to do. Perfect timing.

Good that he got his money. His first test of the 2012 season? At My Saints! Those who are still able to be playing for them, who else besides Brees, should look to give him a clean, legal rough day to welcome him to the NFL. That's gonna be one fun game!
