      1. CRAP, lose by week 4.
      2. FACT, for better or worse. I am expecting a flip-flop to make this true.
      3. CRAP, they stink. 14-10 is no how to win in the NFL anymore.
      4. FACT, Expecting 20% total drop in production.
      5. FACT, no in between. Miss playoffs or total EFF-YOU season. I say miss playoffs.
      6. CRAP, secondary isn't very good, Manning may not last.
      7. CRAP, regress, yes, miss playoffs? Has anyone seen that division?
      8. FACT. 9-7 exactly, in fact.
      9. CRAP.
      10. CRAP, Peterson will have a dominant season... in 2013.
      11. CRAP, Maybe if they play a college team. Wait, he didn't try there, either.
      12. CRAP, secondary is good, but questions everywhere else. OL holes.
      13. CRAP, it will be Luke Kuechly
      14. FACT, but will still make it. Will come down to week 17 win
      15. FACT
      16. CRAP, defense is good enough to get them 3.
      17. FACT, 4.
      18. CRAP, see above comment for DROY
      19. CRAP, will still have less catches than White, though.
      20. CRAP, one of the running backs will.

      12. The Chargers defense will push them into the playoffs - 4 weeks ago I would have agreed with this unequivocally. AJ replaced VJ with Meachem, Royal, Spurlock and had a promising Vincent Brown in the wings. The Chargers weakened defensive front seven has been bolstered by Melvin Ingram, Jarret Johnson and the surprising Kendall Reyes. Although we lost Tolbert to FA AJ acquired a host of RB's to shoulder the load if Mathews went down. Rich Bisaccia seems to have made our ST's what they once were instead of the laughing stock they had turned into.

However, it seems that every year our weak spot is exposed mightily. It's been 4 weeks since Jared Gaither has taken a snap in practice, let alone a game. Although I was quite happy with this signing many scoffed at the idea that we could trust Jared with a long term contract. I hope that Jared Gaither's back heals from whatever is wrong with it. If it doesn't we have a UDFA to hold the fort. Add to that the fact that we already have one of the worst RT's in Pro football in Jeromey Clary. I'm ok with Greene, Hardwick and Vasques but we have a cast of Rookies and nobodies backing them up. Any other injury will prove to be monumentally disastrous. If this were to happen I truly believe that our defense would have to be as good as the '85 Bears for us to make it to the playoffs.

Needless to say if Gaither were to make it back we should be fine. If not, it's going to be a long, final season for Norv.
Chargers LB/DE Melvin Ingram will be Defensive Rookie of the Year- Agree wholeheartedly. Just hope he makes it into the starting lineup faster than Shawne Merriman did ALL those years ago.

      4. Crap: Gronk's stats will regress, but they'll both still have elite seasons.
      5. Crap: They're football players.
      6. Crap: I have the Chiefs winning the division.
      7. Crap: They'll regress, but they're still better than anyone in that division.
      8. Crap: They could win 10 or 11 games. They're not as old as you'd think. The safeties are the main problem, but you just need a good pass rush to hide that.
      9. Fact: Guess I'm biased.
      10. Crap: Jackson will be a workhorse in Fisher's offense, and AD is 26.
      11. Crap: Maybe not this season, but I think it'll happen in future seasons.
      12. Crap: Ingram's a nice addition, but that division isn't as open as it used to be.
      13. Crap: Kendricks, Kuechly, and Jenkins all have better shots IMO.
      14. Crap: Easy division. Yates is good enough, and they improved their receiving corps.
      15. Fact: They'll find a replacement through the draft.
      16. Fact: It's between them and the Vikings for the #1 pick.
      17. Fact: Gabbert's grown some balls, and that defense is underrated.
      18. Crap: Beason is back, but Kuechly is the Mike now.
      19. Fact: He's a freak athlete, but don't see him improving that much over 1 offseason.
      20. Crap: Richardson or Martin will win it.

He will still be their starter in 2020.

[*]The New York Jets will make the playoffs
      In 2015.

[*]The Patriots' TEs will struggle to repeat last year's successes
Only if they break there legs in a dancing mishap.

[*]The New Orleans Saints will fall apart under the pressure and will miss the playoffs
Crap. Still score more than anybody except maybe Green Bay.

[*]The Denver Broncos will easily win the AFCW
No. I don't know who else is in the AFCW, but it won't be easy. Cut-throat is apt.

[*]The San Francisco 49ers will regress, miss playoffs
Betcha not. They will regress, but someone still has to win the division, and they will edge out Seattle, cause Carroll isn't really very good at coaching games.

[*]The Pittsburgh Steelers' defense will show its age and the Steelers will go no better than 9-7
      YES!!!

[*]The NFCN will produce three playoff teams
      Yes.

[*]We've see the end of Adrian Peterson and Stephen Jackson as top-shelf running backs
Jackson, it's not news. I predicted it two years ago. Of course he still is, but I predicted it, so it must be that I have been correct. Peterson will come back strong next year.

[*]KC Chiefs' DT Dontari Poe will be a key contributor in 2012
If by 'key contributor' you mean a large reason for the team's record being what it is, I will say yes. Generally I infer 'key contributor' to be an assumption of success, though. So maybe I am not the one to answer this. I think he is going to suck moose.

[*]The Chargers defense will push them into the playoffs
No, it will prevent them form reaching the playoffs.

[*]Chargers LB/DE Melvin Ingram will be Defensive Rookie of the Year
I do not care,, but I think he will be excellent, barring injury.

[*]The Houston Texans will struggle to make the playoffs when Matt Schaub and Andre Johnson again prove they can't play a full season
      Truth, sadly.

[*]2012 will be Mike Wallace's last season in Pittsburgh
Unless he comes to Buffalo or goes to the Jets, I do not care.

[*]The Miami Dolphins will win less than 3 games in 2012
      Hellooooo, Matt Barkley.

[*]The Jacksonville Jaguars will win more than 3 games in 2012
      Truth.

[*]Luke Kuechly will not lead the Carolina Panthers in total tackles
Crap and a half. He is going to lead the NFC.

[*]Julio Jones will not have his much ballyhooed breakout season
Not sure about the ballyhoo or what defines a breakout season, but I think he will get at least 70-900-8.

[*]RGIII will win Offensive Rookie of the Year
I do not care (thatr is irrefutable.)

      2. Russell Wilson will still be the Seahawks starter in week #10. Crap. I can see him developing into an above average player, not a rookie super star.
      3. The New York Jets will make the playoffs. Crap. Too much inner turmoil, too little offense.
      4. The Patriots' TEs will struggle to repeat last year's successes. Fact. They'll be the best pair of TEs in the league by far. repeating last year is too much to ask
      5. The New Orleans Saints will fall apart under the pressure and will miss the playoffs. Crap. Saints win at least 10 with a chip on their shoulder.
      6. The Denver Broncos will easily win the AFCW. Crap. They are the great unknown. could win 14 or lose 14. I don't see them easily winning the division
      7. The San Francisco 49ers will regress, miss playoffs. Fact/Crap. They will regress. Not win the NFC worst? no way.
      8. The Pittsburgh Steelers' defense will show its age and the Steelers will go no better than 9-7. Crap. Hood, Heyward. Steelers epitomize 'next man up'
      9. The NFCN will produce three playoff teams. Crap. 3 playoff caliber teams, but tough for all 3 to get in.
      10. We've see the end of Adrian Peterson and Stephen Jackson as top-shelf running backs. Crap. Peterson might have an off year, but he's still a stud.
      11. KC Chiefs' DT Dontari Poe will be a key contributor in 2012. Crap. He's a space filler.

      14. The Houston Texans will struggle to make the playoffs when Matt Schaub and Andre Johnson again prove they can't play a full season. Crap/fact. I wouldn't be surprised if both Johnson and Schaub are gone by week 17, would be surprised if Texans don't win the AFCS.

      17. The Jacksonville Jaguars will win more than 3 games in 2012. Crap. i see 3-5 (gonna be a tough year in florida).
      18. Luke Kuechly will not lead the Carolina Panthers in total tackles. Crap. He's a tackling machine, defense is built around him making tackles.
      19. Julio Jones will not have his much ballyhooed breakout season. Fact. He'll be a dominant player, but too many weapons to get 90-100 catches.
      20. RGIII will win Offensive Rookie of the Year. Crap. Always take the field.

      1) CRAP - I've got them losing three games this year.

      3) CRAP - Too much Tebow, too much Sanchez, get Vince Young on the phone
      4) CRAP - Unless they do what I think they should do and make Hernandez a RB
      5) FACT - Too much drama and volatility, I have them not even with a winning record
      6) CRAP - Don't even make the Playoffs and barely go 8-8
      7) CRAP - I think San Francisco is actually a better team this year than last year
      8) FACT - I have them going 9-7, so I'll go with this
      9) FACT - Green Bay, Chicago, Detroit all make it in
      10) CRAP - Jackson maybe, Peterson no effin' way
      11) CRAP - But then again KC doesn't need him to be, defense is good enough to overcome
      12) CRAP - The defense isn't even that impressive
      13) CRAP - Definitely possible, but my money would be on Luke Kuechly
      14) CRAP - If they don't make the Playoffs, it's because Tennessee got better than them
      15) CRAP - He gets the franchise tag after this season
      16) CRAP - Less than three is really really bad, I think Miami is just really bad
      17) FACT - Absolutely more. Several more than three.
      18) CRAP - But who really cares about tackles?
      19) CRAP - He'll still have some dropsies, but he looks like he's put it all together

      1. The Green Bay Packers will again challenge for a perfect season- CRAP They won't even win their own division.

      2. Russell Wilson will still be the Seahawks starter in week #10- FACT He'll be benched by week 4, but put back in when Flynn gets hurt, or Sea realizes he's worse.

      3. The New York Jets will make the playoffs- CRAP *Bonus* Rex Ryan doesn't survive the season.

      4. The Patriots' TEs will struggle to repeat last year's successes- CRAP They may not put up quite the numbers, but they'll still be very good. Except that Aaron Hernandez will have the bigger numbers of the 2.

      5. The New Orleans Saints will fall apart under the pressure and will miss the playoffs- FACT to not making playoffs. I don't think they'll fall apart, and tt won't be because of the pressure. It will be because their defense isn't any good. 9-10 wins, but out.

      6. The Denver Broncos will easily win the AFCW- CRAP Denver finishes in last place.

      7. The San Francisco 49ers will regress, miss playoffs- CRAP Well-coached, fundamentally sound team with a 2012 Pro Bowl QB. 12 wins for SF.

      8. The Pittsburgh Steelers' defense will show its age and the Steelers will go no better than 9-7- CRAP C'mon man! 13-3. This will be Big Ben's finest season.

      9. The NFCN will produce three playoff teams- CRAP

      10. We've see the end of Adrian Peterson and Stephen Jackson as top-shelf running backs- CRAP SJax is in for one last good-great season, and AP still has a number of years left, including this year, even if the media writes him off after September.

      11. KC Chiefs' DT Dontari Poe will be a key contributor in 2012- I'll say FACT, but his impact likely won't be felt until November at the earliest.

      12. The Chargers defense will push them into the playoffs- CRAP The Chargers are yesterday's news.

      13. Chargers LB/DE Melvin Ingram will be Defensive Rookie of the Year- Two Chargers topics? CRAP He'll be good, but not as impactful as Morris Claiborne, Luke Kuechly, or *gulp* Bruce Irvin.

      14. The Houston Texans will struggle to make the playoffs when Matt Schaub and Andre Johnson again prove they can't play a full season CRAP It won't be a walk in the park, since Indy and Tennessee will both be better than people think, but they're the best team. And I'll say Johnson/Schaub miss no more than 2 games combined.

      15. 2012 will be Mike Wallace's last season in Pittsburgh FACT He's Attachment 839

      16. The Miami Dolphins will win less than 3 games in 2012 CRAP 6 wins for Miami this year. Reggie Bush is in for his best season by far.

      18. Luke Kuechly will not lead the Carolina Panthers in total tackles- CRAP

      19. Julio Jones will not have his much ballyhooed breakout season- CRAP Just matching his per game numbers from last year would give him nearly 1300 yards and 12 TDs. Julio Jones will be the 2nd best WR in the NFL this season.

      20. RGIII will win Offensive Rookie of the Year- FACT I feel like these last 2 were put on here just for me. RGIII will throw for 3700 yards, run for 500, and total 29 TDs.

*BONUS*- Matt Ryan will win the MVP- CRAP It will be Big Ben. But Ryan finishes 2nd, wins NFC Offensive POY, and leads Atlanta to the NFC Championship game. Many have written him off as a "we know who he is" guy, but he's only 27. There's a leap coming this year.

Probably the boldest statement yet in this thread. They'd have to lose at least 11, even then I don't see it happening during the season.

11 KC Chiefs' DT Dontari Poe will be a key contributor in 2012 CRAP They're now asking Poe to do more... yeesh

12 The Chargers defense will push them into the playoffs CRAP The offense will

13 Chargers LB/DE Melvin Ingram will be Defensive Rookie of the Year CRAP But he looks like he'll be pretty darned good

14 The Houston Texans will struggle to make the playoffs when Matt Schaub and Andre Johnson again prove they can't play a full season CRAP The changes may well come back to bite them but the division is awful
