    Oh, the New York Jets. Basically, Bart Scott called for a mutiny against the ol' ship S.S. Media. In the end, Scott jumped off the ship and no one followed him.

    In case you missed it between all the fantasy football articles about Rob Gronkowski, Bart Scott called for a boycott of the media after the win against the St. Louis Rams because of the leaks to the public about how the Jets locker room doesn't think much of Tim Tebow. He wanted every player to only answer questions with some version of "both teams played hard." It should be mentioned that Tebow was used less in this game than others and had no significant positive contribution.

    The boycott failed when teammates started answering questions normally. After showing initial anger, Scott himself began answering questions. If Bart Scott ever leads a cult, he may be the only one drinking magic Kool-Aid during the final destination meeting.

    Santonio Holmes stayed classy by taking a shot at Brian Schottenheimer.

    Finally, New York media, if you act now, I will give you a scoop for more fun. After New England, the Jets face the Arizona and San Diego Grade A train wrecks at home and go on the road to face the unimpressive Jags, Bills and Titans. Cue up the Jets to the playoffs talk!

      I've got a sneaking suspicion Cris and Andy will be in Buffalo the last Sunday of the season. I really think the last playoff sot to be determined will be the AFC Wild Card spot that goes to #2 in the AFC East. The equally quixotic Bills get Jacksonville, St. Louis, Miami, Seattle, Indy (all winnable,) and end with these Jets. Who implodes more on the final Sunday night of the season?

      hasn't anyone been watching ESPN today? The Jets are right back in the playoff picture and the favorites to take one of the wild card spots.

      The Jets are still two games behind a second wild spot. They are also two games behind the Patriots, but I don't see them overtaking New England and most likely would lose any tiebreaker to the Pats. Yes they have a winnable schedule and could still make the playoffs.

      I've been in many locker rooms. Outside of isolated incidents, I have never seen dysfunction like this.
      How success and failure are handled is determined by an individual's character. You have to maintain discipline when you win and when you lose. A positive leader will make that happen. And my eyeball test shows me that there is no leadership in that locker room.

      Consistently, the culprits of bad character are Scott, Holmes and Cromartie. This is the voice that the players hear, the message that is spread through the team. Unless someone stands up becomes a positive voice this team will continue to implode.

      Either way, the bottom line is plain. Get rid of Scott, Holmes and Cromartie. They aren't good for any locker room.
