  • Will Pryor now come out early?

Will Terrelle Pryor now forgo his senior season and enter the NFL draft? If the 5 game suspension is upheld after a certain Ohio State appeal, he probably will. He will no longer be in the running for the Heisman Trophy, and obviously he is more of a me guy than a team guy.

Will he enter the draft as a QB or athlete? At 6'5 /240# with 4.3 speed in the 40 he has freakish athletic ability. If it doesn't work out at QB, he could always be an edge rush guy, or size/speed ratio nightmare as a receiver. How much of a hit has his "character" taken?

The Buckeyes thought he would have seasons like Cam Newton put together this year when they landed him. There is no doubt Pryor has the body and athleticism to play in the NFL. But is his future at QB?

So he's the Antwaan Randle El of the 2010's...

      3rd rounder at best.

I think he'll definitely come out early. Why stay and put up with the NCAA's nonsense?

I didn't see enough Ohio State games to tell whether he could come out as a QB though. He's a heck of an athlete with crazy size and speed so I'd think he'd go in the second if he does.

He will wow them at the combine. Someone will fall in love with him and draft him in the 2nd round, then regret it. He's an amazing athlete without a position.

His accuracy is still a large question mark. The leadership I thought he had in now in question. He broke a simple rule number one: never take money for anything. I don't care if Ohio State or the NCAA admits it was not clear enough. Rule number one is clear enough. He would probably be drafted somewhere. I say 4th or 5th right now. He needed one more year to round out his accuracy.

This thing has gotten uglier as the day went by!

I think that Pryor would need to stay in School this year and show he is capable of doing Good Things that are a step up over the previous year. His character has been a concern but his talents undenied. I think at this point if he were drafted he would not go in the First Round but would go on the First Day. This would be a team that would be looking to rebuild with young players and take in someone that they feel they could start within the next two years. He's got talent but his character and progressing QB skills are going to be what scouts and teams are going to be looking at as a caution.

I Still Love my Buckeyes but hope the ship can be righted really quick!

I heard a clip of Kirk Herbstreit saying that OSU will be better off without TP.

Herbie talked about the Buckeyes getting back to being the Buckeyes by playing good, sound, team football instead of worrying about about their Heisman or Draft status.

Couldn't agree more Andy. The same could be postulated about Cam Newton, although to a lesser extent.

The fact that he lied to the NCAA says too much about who he is. He's going to have a lot to prove in order to make it in the NFL. If his head's not in the right place, it won't happen for him. I have a feeling he'll end up being a lot closer to JaMarcus Russell than he will to Michael Vick.
