I will happily do double duty with the Bills, but I think Phil, Swami, and Zambian should have a shot if they want it.

I'd also be happy to pull a double duty here if we need to, I'll take any team leftover if we haven't filled spots.

I can take the Jets. Seeing as they've already won the Superbowl (according to Rex) the picks should be easy.

10 to go. Turk's available for any team, so we need 9 more GMs.

Scott, Kaba and Clem willing to do double duty if necessary.

I'm taking the #1 pick very seriously. Cam Newton, Blaine Gabbert, Patrick Peterson, Von Miller and Marcel Dareus are all coming to my house for dinner tonight. I'll be making my decision based on table manners.

Are you going to set any of them up with n improperly laid-out set of flatware?

Or test them to see if they can tell the difference between a salad fork and dessert fork?

Silly boy! The salad fork comes with the greens, while the dessert fork comes with chocolate. Don't they teach this stuff in Baltimore?

Plus, Andy's prolly making chili. Does that get eaten with the big or little spoon?

I assumed if Andy was making a salad, chocolate syrup would be drizzled on top of it in some capacity.

And the deeper you go into Baltimore, the more the forks become plastic.

I have a question of the pros/experienced amateurs.

The Texans are moving to a 3-4. Connor Barwin is coming off ankle problems, but should be fine. Conner is more a speed and brains DE. When you go to a 3-4, I know the OLBs are used more to rush than a 4-3. But what are the changes to the DE position. Do they shift more towards brawn for the 3-4 over the 4-3?

Need to know is Conner MORE/SAME/LESS valuable in a switch to 3-4.

Andy, are GoBig and Cris inverted? Go was Lions last time and I vaguely recall that he went Vikings once confirming that the No Repeats rule was firm.
    1. GoBigOrGoHome's Avatar
Cris had said he wanted the Lions at the end of Mock #1. Now he wants the Viqueens. Very interesting pick and I see why he wants it.

If anyone else wants to step up and take the Lions, they are welcome. I'll try my hand at another team.

My take is that he would be less valuable in a 3-4 defense. He goes about 260, a little light since DE's in a 3-4 need to be more stout vs. the run. He will probably be switched to OLB in a 3-4. But is he quick enough to drop into coverage?

A good example is Chris Kelsey. He had been a DE in the Bill's 4-3, but when they switched to a 3-4 last year, he moved to OLB and struggled mightily in coverage.

" But is he quick enough to drop into coverage?"

Yep. He was a 4.47 in his pro day. He was a 4.59 at the combine which was disappointing, because he did something silly. He had never been on an eliptical machine, and there was one in the hotel, so he worked out on it, for an hour, the day before the 40s. Needless to say he was sore in new muscles and only did a 4.59.

Connor is also really good in understanding when the QB was going to throw the ball. He could regularly bat the ball and even get picks from batted balls. He was initially a tight end at Cinn, and actually came from AAU Basketball as well as HS football. He was an irregular starter with Bearcats Basketball, just goofing around, joining the team after football.

Sort of Antonia Gates, but on Defense.
