    My first reaction was that Phil Emery was not a strong enough choice. The Chiefs haven't done anything in recent years to garner such a hire & the position of 'Director of College Scouting" for four years as NFL Network said it makes it feel like we'll have a bad or mixed bag of output of GM moves. Best Wishes to the Guy but I don't feel confident this will work. Also, this may have been a Pioli stamped endorsement.

    When the strongest praise his old boss has is that he's organized and a hard worker, a red flag pops up. I'd rather hear things like "great talent evaluator."

    This is a case that proves that the McCaskeys really do hate change. This guy is friends with Angelo. I am not excited about this move.
