Atlanta sure looked like the better team early on but missing those 4 and 1's seemed to take the life out of them.

Can't figure out how the Falcons offense was shut out by a mediocre defense. Puzzling, that.

Atlanta can't play on the road. Those dome teams need to figure it out.

That 2007 New York Giant deja vu feeling keeps getting stronger and stronger.
Their defensive line dominated the game. CC called it in week 17. they're coming good at the perfect time. Dunno why so many people in chat didn't see that. Going for it against that line with a thoroughly mediocre offensive line was always going to result in a stoning.
Not sure if Jints have what it takes to go deep, but they're a different team from earlier in the season.
Changes coming to Falcons. DC quit, OC might be canned. Surely they'll look for o-line bodies, pass rushers and DB's.
Atlanta's trade with the Browns for Julio Jones really looks bad now.

Atlanta made two off-season moves that combined, suggested Thomas Dimitroff thought the team was on the brink of being a top contender.
Jones was one. Signing Ray Edwards was another.
It looks very much like Dimitroff misjudged where this squad is. Still no pass rush. Still issues in the secondary, despite throwing a lot of fresh bodies at the problem. And an offensive line that's punchless (and which includes a Dimitroff #1 failure in Sam baker.)
The defense will likely get some draft attention again this year. Lots of free agents who might bolt, too.
