A little disappointing in that I really thought a SF-NE matchup would be good. But another great game. HUGE defensive effort by SF, but one fumble made the difference.

Whoa. That was another Wild One. Kyle Williams will have to come through this All Off Season. He'll need to learn to overcome fast. Giants vs. Pats! Again! The Bill Parcells coaching tree is on full display here. He deserves to go into HOF on this ballot in 2012.

I don't think anyone can quetion Eli's toughness after this one.He was getting hit constantly.It reminded me a little of Big Ben, in that he just kept getting up no matter how many times the 49ers planted him in the ground.

It was pathetic seeing people wishing Kyle Williams and his entire family would die on Twitter. Somebody posted his home address. It was a sad commentary on human behavior.

I saw a similar thing on YouTube with these 2 girls who were from Arizona. They said some insanely hurtful things towards Mexican Americans and illegal immigrants, but people were posting their cell numbers, full names, home addresses....it was awful.

Another excellent game from the "average" NY Giants defense.

SF was 1-13 on 3rd downs. 0-1 in the red zone. Held Alex Smith to 12 completions and 178 yards. 17 points.

Good day at the office.

Looking forward to the next game, no question that NE's defense has itself stepped up. And no doubt Evil Bill will find ways to thwart Eli. But overall I think the Giants are a better balanced team.

The 49ers without Ted Ginn were even more pathetic than usual. The Giants barely played the deep pass, Vernon Davis was the only threat deep. They kept everything short and Smith couldnt do anything. The 9ers should have one that one, but special teams miscues won it for NY.
