Marvin Lewis is considering making Woodson the Bengals new secondary coach. He said he won't rush a decision but Woodson is a candidate. Thoughts?

Why not give it a try? Woodson was a great DB, and if he can coach, give him the shot.
Stats which may interest only me: Career Playoff Record: P. Manning 9-11, T. Tebow 1-1; Career Overtime Playoff Record: P.Manning 0-3, T. Tebow 1-0; Career Bronco Playoff Record: P. Manning 0-1; T. Tebow 1-1.
That was pretty much my thought. There's a good chance the Bengal will have rookies in heavy rotation at CB and S along with guys like Reggie Nelson who has talent and could use help. I think it's worth a shot.

Woodson coached in Oakland last year, so he at least has some experience. Interesting hire if they can get it done.

I think woodson probably would have gotten the assistant DB job if Hue Jackson had been hired somewhere else. As it was, Jackson is too good of a resource to pass on having on your staff (yes in theory they could have hired both).
I actually really like the fact that the defense is going to have a coach in Jackson who's main job is going to be working with Zimmer saying "this is how this offense is going to attack your defense, this is how you can stop it."
