I got excited over signing Anthony Hargrove and Jeff Saturday lmao...usually it's nobody as well. I think the last guy GB signed was some crap tackle Duke Peterson or something in like 2008. We NEVER sign guys. I just sit back and watch the insanity.

Hey, I'm not complaining, celebrating, anything. I'm literally saying nothing. I saw Bengals' fantastic post on the Bengals FA and thought I'd {put in some research on the Steelers' efforts}.

I'll have you know we signed our first free agent more than 24hrs before this {egregious} post. Ramon foster signed yesterday. Yes he was an rfa, but still technically a free agent. Technically this whole post should be surrounded with official fp sarcasm brackets, but I sarcasm bracketed certain phrases for dramatic effect. If you don't follow the steelers, it may not achieve the effect I was looking for. I know at least trumpet will find them funny...

The Steelers have re-signed Y2Jerricho Cotchery to a 2 year deal.

I also should point out their high frequency of activity immediately following the end of their season. They signed 16 players between Jan 18 and 20, most notably Troy Smith and Derrick Williams, who were both prominently involved in my favorite all-time sporting event that I actually attended, the White Out at Beaver Stadium in 2005.

They also signed Wes Lyons and Will Johnson on March 21.

I chose to ignore the Ramon Foster re-signing hoping it would go away. {I'm about nothing if not journalistic integrity}
