Thread: Terrell Suggs probably out for the year.

Terrell Suggs probably out for the year.

There are reports that Suggs tore his Achilles, which is typically at least a 12-month recovery. Suggs had his best year in 2011, winning NFL defensive player of the year.

Suggs says he'll be back as early as October, but I think he's done for the year.

You know. I do think that Boulware is free agent right now. Maybe try calling the University of Texas version of Sergio Kindle.

Next man up. Kruger, Kindle or Upshaw. Someone has to step up or the Ravens are going to be hurting.

I'm guessing it will be Kruger and Upshaw in the starting lineup come week one, barring of course the team signing a free agent to replace Suggs who could start. Maybe Andre Carter or Matt Roth get brought it, but it would be more likely if they bring in anyone that it's more like Clark Haggans or Quentin Groves. Michael McAdoo will get the first shot if one of Upshaw or Kruger falter before Kindle does.

I'm just glad you're lucid. I was going to send brawney to your house with smelling salts and a syringe full of adrenalin.

Tough blow right when Suggs career was going stratospheric. Hope he does beat the odds, he's a great player who adds a lot to the game on and off the field.
