LOL but I don't hate AP...I'm a huge fan of him, Urlacher, Forte, Allen, Stafford, Megatron..I know they're division rivals, but they're great players. It sucks that he got arrested, but it probably won't amount to much. He was probably just a little drunk and lost his cool.

LOL! You're leavin' no stone left unturned. You're right. You could almost include the Bears' Brandon Marshall in the category in his cleared situation. Bears knew of incident & took him anyway. The roll of the dice paid off despite Marshall's checkered past.

    Assaulting anyone is a crime.

I get the impression the cop was out of uniform working security at the club. If this is the case and if he doesn't possess the panache to hustle out the last few bar patrons without resorting to whipping out his handcuffs, the cop should find a new side gig.

    Must be a UT fan.
Screw you guys, I'm going home.

In general, I would say that touching a police officer is a pretty poor life decision and I have no desire to talk law enforcement tactics, prerogatives, and the like on this site. Practically speaking, though, don't you think Peterson would have been charged with that if they felt they could make that stick?

The Laydowns are having a bad few months. But the Viqueens are having a bad century. This is arrest #39 for them since 2000. Ten of them have come since January 2011.

Only if he identifies himself a a cop beforehand, right?

Conflicting reports. Forgive me if I choose not to place all my faith in an arresting officer's report. I'll wait for some witness statements.
