Unsurprising announcement: the Bills will be trying to lose an extra game per year

They are going back to Toronto.

Bonus, I went to high school with the merchandising director for the team. And the comments section on their website defaults to sharing comments on facebook. I may be losing headcount over there.

How much money do the Bills make on this deal? It ought to be a bucketful, given how rotten the thing is for the franchise in every other respect. And what percentage of seats are actually filled with a butt in Toronto?

$10 million a year. Yeah, I can see that. Still, it sucks.

Attendance at the games in Toronto has varied from capacity to about 10,000 empty seats.

There are enough knowledgable hardcore NFL fans here to fill a stadium on a regular basis... however, when this "Toronto Series" began,
Rogers had received immense criticism received immense criticism for the high prices of tickets to previous Bills-in-Toronto games. Indeed, tickets for the first game in 2008 averaged $183, compared to $51 for Bills home games that year at Ralph Wilson Stadium.
Even though prices have come down, it is still cheaper for a Torontonian to go to Buffalo for a full day of football and food.

One thing to realize, Buffalo is maybe an hour drive times (plus customs) from Toronto and environs.

    That's pretty much downtown.
