Two NFC North items.

First, Johnny Knox has retired. I liked him and he was a thorn in our butt. Sadly, more than a year into his recovery and he is still not walking well.

The Viking have 'evolved' the norseman. The horns have less shading and look like the ones on their helmets, the lines on face are bolder and the stoke used for the eye has changed and finally, there is less braid (I wish they'd said there was less pony tail).

I'm heartbroken by Knox. That was a horrific injury. I can only hope that the rest of his life isn't horribly affected.

I think using the two in combination can be useful. spotrac has never had the right number for TJ Lang in 2012, overthecap does. OTOH, neither has adjusted Saturday's numbers correctly yet.

Sportrac listed Jonathon Goodwin as a cornerback for most of the year. In their defense, it's tough to tell a center from a DB on film. They look exactly the same.
