Every time an American uses the word "bugger" I wonder if they know what it means in England?

My understanding of it from a very short time in England is something that I imagine to be very uncomfortable. So, yes, not something to mention here.

Hahaha so it'd be inappropriate to call a kid "a little bugger"?

Thats the stupid thing about censorship of words. They do still call them little buggers and us the word bugger frequently. Even women. Even ladies. Just because its been in use for so long it becomes acceptable.
