The Bears? I hope you are right.

There is a four team possibility for that spot to my mind. I don't trust the Atlanta and New Orleans defenses, the Cowboys with the Joneses, or the Vikings with this Billsian trade for Bradford.

I hope you are wrong about the Pats losing in the Superbowl! For obvious reasons.

I think the AFC will come down to the Pats and Steelers. The NFC is more open, IMO.

    My Super Bowl Pick is:

    New England over Dallas.

Not I. Falcons and Saints I think will give up too many points. Bugs are a year away from fighting for the top spot.

This season feels tougher to get a feel for than usual, but then again, last year I picked the Broncos and Panthers to win a combined 10 games, so maybe I'm just an idiot. Statistically, 5 playoff teams from last year won't make it this year.

    AFC Division Winners:
East- Pats (by default- someone will step up and give them a fight, I just don't know who)
    North- Steelers
South- Texans (#1 seed- I'm most certain about this pick)
West- Raiders (Top 2 OL, ascending defense, tough division, but maybe Carr takes the next step)
    WC- Bills
WC- Jags (tempted to say Colts thanks to solely to Luck's presence)

    NFC Division Winners:
    East- Giants
North- Packers (It's easy to assume that the offense will bounce back this year, but what if they don't, and 31 yr old Jordy Nelson can no longer stretch the field?)
    South- Bucs
    West- Cardinals (#1 seed)
WC- Seahawks- bad OL concerns me.
    WC- Lions

    Super Bowl:
    Steelers over Cardinals

The lack of Denver is most controversial here, but it's a tough schedule, I'm not sold on the QB situation, and the DL will also take a step back.
Carolina's defense will be greatly impacted by the loss of Norman, and can they keep Cam healthy?

I don't feel good about any of these picks. Steelers are the best team if they can remain healthy on offense-- a big if-- and I think they'll take another step into becoming a borderline Top 10 defense. Frankly, they probably would have been in the Super Bowl last year if Bell and Brown were around against Denver. But if (when) the injury bug strikes, Houston is primed to make a major run.

    MVP- Roethlisberger
    NFC MVP/OPOY- David Johnson

Expect a rebound of sorts for the RB position. And Jerick McKinnon will end the season as the ViQueens leading rusher.
