Yes - too many commercial breaks, and on some of the drill and 40 stuff, you can fast forward to see guys you're interested in seeing.

Mike Mayock says this is one of the best defensive drafts he's ever seen, especially at DE, CB & S. That's good news for the Lions

Mayock says Taco Charlton looks like Dunlap/Michael Johnson of the Bengals. Said he fits what they do. #NFLDraft

And neither was a first round pick. Not saying Taco isn't, but he'd be a reach at 9, and the bengals have shown they can get good DL later. Haven't taken DL in 1 since Marvin.

Combining those two tweets is the essential rub facing the Bengals. It's a bumper crop year for DE/Edge guys, but not really if you play the kind of 4-3 the Bengals do. Take away all of the guys who don't fit their mold, and you're left with maybe one guy in every round who would be a fit and not a reach there (Garrett is obviously not considered). And that's tough because you have to essentially get lucky in every round that that guy will be there...or you overdraft in a given round for a guy who might not have that value.

It's encouraging that Guenther has stated that he's open to 250lb guys, but then again, Guenther said other things this year that were immediately contradicted/shut down by Marvin.

Lastly, I can't say Taco is a reach or not yet at #9. DE is the single position more than any other where athleticism seems to translate to future NFL success. I'm waiting for someone who is in the conversation in the first 3-4 rounds to make my jaw drop.

I think Garrett is the only fit in 1 who is not a reach. And, no, he will not be there.

When does the lifting occur? During the "measurements" slots?
