    2017: YOUR Mock Drafts

    Couldn't find the original thread.

Here's what I'm thinking at this point:

    1. DE Derek Barnett, Tennessee
    2. OL Taylor Moton, Western Michigan
    3. WR Josh Reynolds, Texas A&M
    4. RB Samaje Perine, Oklahoma
    4. OL Roderick Johnson, Florida State (this pick is more about taking OL than my knowledge of him).

Can't say I've done enough to go farther than that, though I'd expect a LB, another DE, a DB, another RB, a late round WR, and maybe a kicker?

The good news is that I expect just about every one of those guys to be available in those spots when we pick.

I could see something like this playing out:

    1. DE Derek Barnett
    2 RB Alvin Kamara
    3. OL Taylor Moton
    4. WR DeDe Westbrook
    4. LB Ben Boulware

Can I have my kicker in the 5th, please.

I'm not so sure we see a kicker. They've got 2 on the roster now, there may be a 3rd I'm forgetting, and who knows whether Gonzalez is better than Bullock. It's tough to tell with kickers.

I'm guessing ultimately we'll see Gonzalez (who to my knowledge is the only kicker worth drafting), get taken before the 6th which is likely when the Bengals would care enough to pull the trigger.

Between 11 picks, a guy worth taking, and need, I could definitely see them drafting a kicker in 5. Huber was a 5.

oh I definitely could see it. I guess what I'm saying is I think the only guy worth taking will be gone before they get around to caring about it.

I'll take a shot at the first 4 rounds:

    1 - Reuben Foster, LB
    2 - Charles Harris, DE
    3 - Curtis Samuel, WR-RB
    4a - Samaje Perine, RB
    4b - Jermaine Eluemunor, OL

Boulware might not even be drafted. If he is, he won't go higher than the 7th.

Did a Fanspeak mock again for the hell of it. If nothing else, it's interesting to see how much movement there's been with certain top guys (see first two picks).

First 4 picks were basically BPAs that I couldn't pass up (didn't hurt that they hit needs with bullseyes).

I missed Kpass by a few picks in 4 and probably would have taken him over Hall. Tough choice. Many dismiss him because of Margus Hunt, but I think that's flawed logic. Not the same guy on any level. Worst case scenario, you keep putting weight on him and try to turn him into an Albert Haynesworth.

I'm taking back-to-back DE because I think there's room. In this scenario Allen either replaces Peko or Gilberry (take your pick). Hall replaces Hunt and Wise replaces Gilberry or pushes MJ.

The rest of the picks reflect the lack of obscure players at the bottom of the nfldraftscout board as much as anything. Guys like Glen Antoine I want on my team.

9: R1P9 DL JONATHAN ALLEN ALABAMA
41: R2P9 OT CAM ROBINSON ALABAMA
73: R3P9 RB JOE MIXON OKLAHOMA
    116: R4P9 EDGE DAESHON HALL TEXAS A&M
138: R4P31 EDGE DEATRICH WISE JR. ARKANSAS
    153: R5P9 WR JOSH REYNOLDS TEXAS A&M
176: R5P32 LB ELIJAH LEE KANSAS STATE
    193: R6P9 C JON TOTH KENTUCKY
217: R6P33 QB CHAD KELLY OLE MISS
    227: R7P9 S JOHNATHAN FORD AUBURN
251: R7P33 OT MAX RICH HARVARD
