The good news for the Dolphins is linebacker Chase Allen returned to practice on Wednesday. The second-year player missed last weekend’s game against the Patriots due to a foot injury.

Allen initially suffered the injury during the Dolphins 28-20 victory over the Raiders in Week 3. While Allen was back, many Dolphins players were missing from practice.

Cornerback Bobby McCain (knee), defensive end Andre Branch, tight end A.J. Derby (foot), running back Brandon Bolden (unknown) and wide receiver Danny Amendola (veteran’s rest day) were all held out of Wednesday’s session.

Cameron Wake, who did play against the Patriots last week also missed practice. Wake also missed last Wednesday’s practice due to a knee injury he sustained against the Raiders.

Reshad Jones and DeVante Parker, who both missed the Dolphins game against the Patriots did practice. Jones has missed the last two weeks due to a shoulder injury while Parker sustained a quadriceps injury in practice late last week.
