    I’m surprised. I get the Mike Brown effect, but whoever gets hired has a low bar for success, some real talent on the roster, and way more years than anyone else will get to succeed.

    Other than Pollack, Simmons is the only assistant I’d look to keep around.

    DL production this year was terrible.

    Honestly most HC candidates would be good hires. The issue is making sure you get the right OC/DC/OL coach in place. Coaching is more about the sum of the parts than one individual, in most circumstances. I worry more about coordinators/OL coach in GB than them fumbling at HC.
