Brian is kind of a hard-ass rather than a players coach. Although he seemed to get along with the guys this year. It could either go really well or really really bad. Would depend on the guys buying in. My guess would be really bad but I do think he wants to get to the NFL. If we had more Irish that were prominent, I could see the guys buying in. Dallas would be perfect for him.

Dolphins complete interview with Eric Bieniemy

Posted by Curtis Crabtree on January 5, 2019, 12:08 AM EST

The Miami Dolphins have completed their interview with Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy as they continue their search for a replacement for Adam Gase.

For Bieniemy, it was his third interview over the last two days after also meeting with the New York Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Wednesday. He is scheduled to interview with the Cincinnati Bengals on Friday before turning his full attentions to the Chiefs playoff matchup with either Indianapolis, Baltimore or the Los Angeles Chargers next weekend.

It’s Bieniemy’s first season as an offensive coordinator at the NFL level, but being a part of one of the most potent offenses in the league has its advantages. He previously served as the offensive coordinator at the University of Colorado in 2011-12 before joining the Chiefs staff as a running backs coach in 2013.

Bieniemy spent nine seasons in the NFL as a running back, including four in Cincinnati from 1995-98. He also played for the San Diego Chargers and Philadelphia Eagles.

Forgot to mention here, look for the #Bengals to expand their coaching search with candidates playing this weekend. Was told they preferred to not distract those coaches ahead of their first playoff game.

Not sure if they expand the search to all teams that just played, or just the ones who have been eliminated.... Anyone you all covet from this weekend’s games?

This gives me even more confidence that someone has gotten the old man to realize it can’t be Hue.

Interesting they are trying to fill that before a coach.

Sounds like they are planning ahead. Also could be a possible Joseph/Kubiak tandem.

Why that might be is this...Hi son is currently the assistant QBs coach for the Broncos. He is well thought of and "due for a promotion". Klint is good friends with Zac Taylor. It's possible the Bengals are interested in Taylor but want him to have a veteran coach running his offense. Taylor HC, Gary as OC, Klint as QB

Joseph replaced Kubiak but they didn't coach together.
