Thread: Bengals Free Agency; Pratt Extended; Bell Gone; Scott Signed

  1. Really surprised, though, given that the staff repeatedly said that a lot of the sacks, especially early in the season, weren't on the O-line, that they've done nothing to shore up those non-oline blocking positions. Rookies likely aren't gonna cut it there. The seeming lack of urgency there is unsettling.

I really don't like what they have done at TE or RB.

Someone had data about which rbs ran from shotgun vs under center. I haven't been able to find the site

I agree - and look at what he did with Irwin, for example. He made quite a few plays down the stretch last year.

They did sign Trayveon Williams - and while he's not Samaje, he's no slouch as a runner.. He's a better runner, IMO, albeit not as powerful... and he's upped his game as a receiver. Tough kid. And they still have Evans at RB, too, although he fell off the face of the earth, other than the TD catch in that KC game.

Def could see a day 1 or 2 pick at both RB and TE... and I still expect to see at least TE signing (if not Moreau, then Sample, Carter or Wilcox), even though they have AsiAsi on the roster, and a few guys on the PS.

I love Jamyr Gibbs - he's got some Alvin Kamara vibes to him, but he's faster. And there are a number of other good RBs in this draft - Zach Charbonnnet, Kendre Miller (really like him), Roschon Johnson, Davin Achane, Tank Bigsby, Tyjae Spears, DeWayne McBride, Israel Abandikanda, etc.

Any ideas on post draft running back cuts could be? Part of me wonders if they’re waiting to see if CEH is going to get the axe but can’t imagine they would give any assets to the Chiefs in return at this point.

    Oh wow.

    Foster Moreau

Through somewhat of a miraculous process, this Free Agency period has been life changing for me. During a routine physical conducted by the Saint’s medical team down in New Orleans, I’ve come to learn that I have Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, and will be stepping away from football at this time to fight a new opponent: Cancer. I’m grateful for the support and thankful for people who have stood firm with me. There hasn’t been a single step I’ve taken without hundreds of people lighting the path before me, and I will continue to seek their guidance.

That being said, I’ll go kick this thing’s ass and get back to doing what I love! AMDG!

Shocking news. Hope Moreau has a full recovery. I'm sure Burrow will reach out to him if he hasn't already.

Whelp. They've kinda ****ed themselves at TE now. Absolute MUST to get one in round 1 or 2, and then need him to be good right away. Not ideal.
