    Turk,
    your thoughts on him as a coach?Do you think he has any real chance of winning the job ?

  2. Eric is very head strong with his beliefs. His philosophy will be to run the football and be a physical team. Eric has never called plays, and does not fully understand the pass game. My guess is that OC Mike McCoy will put the pass game together, and call plays. As far as winning the job, this type of situation makes it very difficult for any coach to keep it long term. With the owner now paying two former head coaches, and the impending lock out, owner Pat Bowlen might keep Studesville longer than expected.

    Wonder why they passed up the coordinators for the interim job? Also, who's handling personnel?

    Whoa, he sounds a lot like Singletary. Did he play for the Bears?

    From what I'm hearing, management wanted the coordinators to concentrate solely on running the offense and defense. They looked at the assistants and decided that Eric was the best choice to handle the duties of the head coach.
