So I finally joined the 21st century

Yep, I made a Facebook page. I am not proud of it - there is no fancy background, no art. Actually, it's pretty much empty.

But that's beside the point - I thought I would take advantage of my newfound tech by clicking the Facebook Connect button at the top of the page. What did I get? An error message. I'm going to have to cancel facebook now and go back to the 1980s.

I made a Facebook page to keep in contact with family I rarely get to see. Now I know way too much about the minutiae of their daily lives. I guess it's ok. Makes my life seem exciting.

Heh! Facebook is Cool but I really like Twitter best. It makes me feel current and informed.

P.S. I hope Clem goes back to the 1980's and brings back those Member Only jackets. I don't care what people say. *Whang Chung Tonight*

I was having that same issue connecting via FB here too. Not sure what that's all about.

I refuse to get a Facebook, it's everything that's wrong with my generation.

For people who want to stay in touch, it's a great tool. For my generation, it's a podium for them to ***** about things.

I, too, miss the 80's. I mean, how the hell did the 'Parachute Pants' fad ever get away from us?
Screw you guys, I'm going home.
