I am in dire need of a new smart phone. Any opinions on Android and the phones it supports would be appreciated.
I'm a Verizon customer, so my smart choices are Droid and Blackberry. i have run through the Blackberry family. Time for something new.

Take it easy. And if it's easy, take it twice.
I am a CrackBerry follower. I love that silly thing. I have heard that Droids are supposedly the best thing since sliced bread though.

I've got a little gray in my beard, but c'mon man!!

Everyone I've talked to that has a Droid says they absolutely love it. Everyone I've talked to about the Blackberry gave it a review ranging somewhere between "Aiight" and "That's why I traded it in for a Droid"

Just got a Droid X. Huge screen. Love it.
Amazon, Blockbuster, Email, Texting......plus its a PHONE too!!
Just about everyone I know with a Droid loves it. One of these days, when I move up to a big boy phone, I'm planning on going that route.

I am a huge android fan. I have an Intercept through Virgin Mobile. Not great, but good for what I need, mostly bought for the plan (thanks to Google Voice, I only use 100-200 minutes/month. The plan is 300 minutes with unlimited data for $25 with no contract). I also have a Galaxy Tab which I LOVE. It's by far my favorite gadget, and I am a gadget freak.
I have the Mtorola Droid. It's mostly excellent. The thing it does least well is be a telephone. Most bluetooth devices provide better clarity. On the whole, recommended. If I'm not careful I can dial in unanticipated conference calls with my cheek, but it's only happened twice in a year.
I'm still Cool to say I have a TracFone & Its Cool. Good reception, Good handset models including my Samsung version with Bluetooth capability. Nice for basic talk and text. But yeah, get a jitterbug.
