Just for Fun; Fantasy Coaching Staff Anyone?

I'm sure we will all end up disecting the final coaching staff at Cleveland for months, before we can see what they can accomplish, and I am just as sure there will be a few of us that won't like the major coaching choices, for whatever reasons we will have. So here's my question; "What head coach, O/D coordinators and position coaches would you like to have on the Browns staff next year. Certainly, you can use whomever you wish to fill these positions, but my criteria is only that they are actually available. Obviously, we're not solving world hunger here. My choices are more sentimental than educated, and I consider the Head coach is already Shurmer, so I am starting with him in place.

So here's my fantasy coaching staff.

    Head Coach: Pat Shurmer

    Offensive Coordinator: Marty Shottenheimer
Defensive Coordinator: Buddy Ryan (or, let's just keep Rob and find some more talent for him)
    Quarterback Coach: Bernie Kosar
Line Coach: Mike Tice (Yeah, I know he is employed, but asst coaches are fair game)

(Can you tell I came of age in the 70s and 80s?)

Please don't take Mike Tice away from the Bears...all jokes about his days in Minny aside, he has done a heck of a job and really earned all Bears fans respect...I'd love to see what Kosar could do for Brady Quinn...oh, wait, yeah....ummm...just put Hillis in at QB, sneak it all day haha

Marty is way to old for us.

If Shurmur is the coach, let's give him some top drawer help.
OC - Let's go crazy and bring in Chip Kelly from Oregon, or we could reanimate the great Ted Marchibroda.

As for Defensive Coordinator, give me Dick LeBeau. And if he's not available, get some of his DNA and clone him.

Gotta love those choices Pruitt. Playing Pittsburg might actually be fun for a change.

I was at my bank today and ended up talking football with the Assistant manager. Yep, a Steelers fan. These guys are everywhere.

As he is a former Lion, Detroit has dibs on Dick LeBeau's DNA.
Screw you guys, I'm going home.

I thought we were going to do Fantasy Football, but with coaches.

Since the NFL average for points scored is about 21, OCs get a point for each pt over 21 each week, DC get a point for each under 21 and HC get point differential plus 7 pts for a win.

    32 teams x 3 coaches = 96 players 10 team league, 9 coach roster, start 2 HC, 2 OC, 2 DC with a bench of 3..

So what do you say? I am getting NO OC in the first round.

New lyric for a blues song I'm calling "Cleveland Defensive Coordinator Blues" :

    "I asked for Dick LeBeau,
    She gave me Dick Jauron"

Guess we're going milquetoast next year.

My experience as a Bills fan has given me a different perspective on Jauron. And it's not a good one.
