I'm going to predict a 7-9 record for Seattle this season. A lot of these games are questionable to me and they could go either way, but with Pete Carroll in his first year, some new draft picks who have to acclimate, and a whole mess of other issues that the Seahawks have, 7-9 sounds reasonable and would probably be met with decent reception given their past two seasons.

I would hope he can last. Injuries have plagued him the past few years, and eventually it will be time for him to leave. Hopefully that time is not now though. Charlie Whitehurst needs a year behind him before he can really take over.

  5. The schedule sets up fairly nicely with only one 2 week stretch of road games which hopefully keeps losing streaks from gaining momentum. I could see the Hawks winning up to 9 games with a healthy Hasselbeck. The biggest factor to that will be the development of Okung.

There will be a lot of question marks and "if this happens" moments for the Seahawks this year. I really feel like they have complete control over their success. They could potentially win the division, or they could continue the losing trend. I'm excited to see how they perform this year.

  7. I see Seattle as one of two teams, either great of awful. If Hasselbeck is healthy and can play, the Seahawks could win this division. If not, they will battle the Rams for last place. New coach, new system, and new QB does not work in this league. Ask Tampa. Matt is in his mid-30s now, and with his history of injuries, anything is possible.

They have such an up and down season as far as the toughness of opponents...they either play a terrible team or a really good team it seems every week. I'll say this, they NEED to go 6-2 at home if they are gonna have a chance, I just don't see it happening...Long year for Seattle fans in my opinion.

I'm a Niners fan, and I think the SeaHawks are going to be terrible this year.

    They have NO QB!

Niners are going to smash them.
