NCAA Tournament Upset Special

I don't want to infringe on Turk's Upset Special copyright. So I'll post a suggestion instead.

We need an NCAA Tournament upset special thread.

I'm thinking something like this:

Skip the play-in games
Post round to round Upset Specials (just like the weekly posts for NFL games)
Set the Round of 64 upset bar at 10-seeds and lower for the first real round
Points awarded for seed disparity (12 beats a 5 = 7 points] in round one
Two point multiplier awarded for seed disparity in the Round of 32
Three point muliplier for seed disparity in Sweet Sixteen
Four point multiplier in the Elite Eight
Five point multiplier the Final Four

As Upset Special Top Dog, I look forward to kicking all your behinds. Again.

We pick one game per round. If you blow a pick, you get to keep picking in the later rounds. Winner gets nothing but bragging rights.

I'll fire the opening shot. In the West Region the #13 Oakland University Golden Grizzlies will upset the #4 Texas Longhorns for 9 points.

It would be a hefty job the first weekend. I'll take one region & PM you the results for posting. Any takers on the other three?

Need a pick format. Picks should in this format: West Region #13 OU over #4 Texas for 9 points. Submissions like 'OU' will be disregarded.

Yes. They beat Tennessee, almost beat Michigan State. They played a badass non-conference schedule.

That little bam-box of an arena they play in is a GREAT place to see a game live.
