Even if he is overvalued in your eyes, he's still cheaper than Zach Miller, and there's more important spots to spend the real big money on. I think they'll keep him at a fair price.

Who knows? It wasn't just Kevin tipping balls. If they upgrade, they upgrade. But if they bring him back, I have no objection.

The Giants really don't use their TE much in the passing offense even when they have a talented one (that's a big part of why Shockey wanted out). Boss is a solid blocker with good hands who doesn't run his mouth. He's certainly not a big play guy, but he does everything that is asked of him and always gives 100%. I will be very happy if he gets re-signed.
Eli's tendency to force passes has little to do with Boss and everything to do with Eli - that's just how Eli plays.
They used Shockey a lot more than they used Boss in the passing game.

Because Shockey was belligerent if he didn't get the ball. Boss never complains.
Shockey came around under a different regime -different coach, OC and QB. In this offense, the TE needs to block first, and catch second (sometimes a distant second). So any comparison is silly, but I do agree that Eli needs an outlet, which is normally a RB, but none on our roster can catch worth a damn. Maybe this years 7th round pick can help, who knows...the big question is why would Boss come back, considering how often Eli has hung him out to dry and almost gotten him killed. But I sense he is true blue, we will see....
