By my reckoning, the areas where we need the most help are DE, LB, OT, TE, and DB.

These are the guys I think would be worth getting, from either scheduled UFA or announced cuts (not including guys I've heard have already signed somewhere):

Any thoughts? Agree, disagree? anyone I missed? There are guys out there who play positions where we are OK but not much above average, but they're for another day. (I'm looking at you, Andy Levitre.)

I'm struggling not to lose my mind. Many able free agents to be had. Many holes to be filled. Some money to sign them with. Signs point to... Brad Smith? Were we in need of an average receiver and kick returner? LB's and TE's please. Please. Otherwise another season of rooting for the draft pick. Luck-y us?

I'm not as depressed as you guys. Smith could be useful, Barnett's a good signing. Plus, the D seems to be shutting down Levi Brown in training camp. All signs are positive until mathematically eliminated is my credo!
