Are we Idiots? Yes, I think we are Idiots. Brad Smith?

4 years and 15 million dollars for Brad Smith? Last I checked we already had seven good to great kick returners. And we have a very solid group of wide rece3ivers with good hands and average speed. Our cover teams are unexceptional these days, it's true. But to pay him more than the QB? What's he going to do? Bulk up and play TE?

What the hell is happening over there? Have they just completely misread their roster? I know they have faith in Bell and Pears, which indicates a huge YES, but seriously. No LB's, half a corps of CB's,, no OT's, no DE's, half a corps of LB's, and THIS is what they do?

I'm getting more and more nostalgic for the lockout, and days when we didn't do things like this.

Toss up for worse signing, clem.

He's a very good special teams player, being paid like the best in the league. He isn't the best in the Division! That's Jim Leonhard. WHO WE DUMPED THREE YEARS AGO BECAUSE HE IS SHORT!!!

Tasker must be having a stroke.

    I think I am.

Oh, I think I got it. We're trying to corner the market on kickoff returners, because we don't force any punts, and our kickoff returners are likely to get tired.

Just when it seemed like someone in Orchard Park understood the nFL.

My mind is too boggled to even make a joke at this point. I will say that on draft day, I told a friend of mine that I was thrilled because it seemed like old man Nix finally got around to counting the returners on his roster. I guess not.

Just like to point out that on the day the Patriots pick up Haynesworth, the Bills picked up Smith.

Maybe they'll play him at QB

But Gailey is an offensive mastermind.

And Aaron Maybin is a superstar.

See, when I talk Bills, I speak in sarcasm. It's the only way to stay sane.

Ahah! So he should be able to use one of the other FIVE receivers Brad Smith isn't better than, no?

    This is just beyond frustrating.
