    Post Introducing------NBC Sports Network!

It's Finally on its Way!!! NBC Sports Network is going to be the new name of VERSUS come January 2nd, 2012. The network also has a new NBC Sports Logo which will also be used for NBC Sports' NBC Television branding for programs like our Beloved "Sunday Night Football".

Currently, Notre Dame and horse racing are the platinum valuables for the network. However, think about what possibilities will come from the pre-game and post-game coverage (possibly more Cris and his film breakdowns), "ProFootballTalk Live with Mike Florio" could be on there as well as the NBA. Oh Yeah------Don't forget about the sliver of possibility that the NFL Thursday Night package that Roger Goodell is shopping for Weeks 2-9 could be on there too; especially with Comcast owning NBC and such.

    Good Times.

'The Andy Freeland dance party', weeknights at 2:45am. Figured I'd say it before one of you other ne'er-do-wells.

Well, I think 'Live' has been successful with folks since debuting and that website does get a lot of traffic for the small parts and the major stories.

Also, when you want College Football aside from Notre Dame look for NBC Sports to bid. I also expect comprehensive NFL programming that will rival NFL Live and the like. Also, Baseball, additional NBA basketball games and possibly expanded SNF & Super Bowl coverage could all collide onto the NBCSN. I Love the possibilities.

Will it be an all out competition with ESPN or more like fox sports?

Awesome question; I say it'll start out like Fox Sports Net to compensate the lack of Commanding Prime Time programs but then with further outreach of service on carriers and making big bids with some more Comcast money I say they'll beat ESPN at some packages and expand the duel of best in class program showcase (i.e. Sunday Night Football vs. Monday Night Football).
