First, No. Second, neither of those guys is an offensive tackle. The idea of hoping we lose is disgusting, and as a tactic I will refer you to the thread title. Especially given our recent draft history. Our UFA hit rate is better.

Screw the offensive tackle this is a QB league. The Rams passed on Matt Ryan to take Chris Long and ended up with the #2 overall pick the next year. Then they passed on Mark Sanchez and Josh Freeman to draft Jason Smith and ended up as the worst team in the league. It wasn't until they got Bradford that they finally became a decent team that competed for a playoff spot. The Miami Dolphins had the #1 pick and took Jake Long over Matt Ryan and now their QB situation is a mess. Jake Long is one of the best LT in the NFL but i guarantee you that Miami would trade him for Matty Ice 100 out of 100 times. The elite QBs win in this league and until you get one, you wont compete with the Patriots and Jets.

This is becoming a retread argument about the relative merits of our current QB's. Not drafting a quarterback thisyear hasn't been touted here as one of the idiotic mistakes we've made. Drafting one next year might be a great idea. Intentionally losing from daqy one is idiotic, and what it appears they're trying to do.
