Irrational Pet Peeve
Announcers love triple names. Anyone commentating on Alabama games never said "Fine throw by Wilson." It was always "Fine throw by John Parker Wilson." Always the whole name.
Same thing with Patriots game callers. It's never "Touchdown by Green-Ellis." It's always "Touchdown by BenJarvus Green-Ellis."
Like I said, irrational. But it annoys me the way it annoys me when people say "Each and every" when "every" would be just fine all by itself. I think I'll go exercise to exorcise.

Wes Welker's recovery from a nasty knee injury has been remarkable. To my untrained eye it looks like he hasn't lost a thing. Fantastic.
